    Dogs Matter is a foster-based organization. Taking in any pet relies on the availability of a suitable foster environment for your pet. We understand the urgency but cannot guarantee how long the process will take.

  • Please fill out the following information if you’re interested in Dogs Matter foster care services for your pet. Fill out a separate application for each pet. 

    • You must be actively seeking an addiction treatment program (or in recovery) for drugs and/or alcohol
    • Dogs Matter prioritizes clients seeking inpatient treatment for up to 90 days
    • Dogs Matter prioritizes clients ready for long-term recovery and aftercare
    • Medical records and photos will be required
    • Please note: it can take up to 48 hours before we’re able to respond
    • Please check your email for follow-up questions prior to an intake call
